Job Description Civil Engineering Co-Operative Program (3 Rotations Required) Indianapolis, IN The program: The Civil Aerospace Engineering Co-op program is designed to combine your academic studies alongside practical work experience in engineering. Our goal is to offer breadth of exposure to the many facets of our engineering functions and internal networks from customers to management to help you navigate exciting and purposeful career development opportunities. As a Civil Engineering Co-op in Indianapolis, you will support engineering projects within Civil Mature Engines (AE 3007A or C, AE 2100A, and RB211-535). This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a team that supports over 3,600 engines in service. Our products help transport people and packages around the world. On this program, you'll undertake 3 semester length placementsthrough a broad range of projects within design, service, and project management that will provide an introduction to the business portfolio, an exposure to aerospace fundamentals, and a deeper dive exploration of mechanical and aerospace concepts. To complete the program, Co-op students are required to alternate between school and employment completing three (3) structured rotations (starting fall 2025) before graduating. The Civil Co-Op program is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. What you'll do: As a Civil Engineering Co-op, you will work under the guidance of your reporting manager, assigned to a rotational manager and other mentors throughout the program. The type of projects will vary based on business need, but all the projects you do will be in support of a real business goal with a direct link to our products and customers. It makes for a fantastic opportunity to share your ideas and really make a difference. Not only will you receive on-the-job training, but you'll also develop a host of transferable skills. Your day-to-day tasks will differ, and you'll receive support from different people within the business, all of whom will be committed to helping you to deliver your best. Rotations may include assignments in design, service, analysis, manufacturing, and/or test functions. At the end of each session, you will be required to complete an exit presentation detailing work assignment and accomplishments.
