Responsible for leading the portfolio and all projects within the portfolio. Ensures that all aspects of effective portfolio management are addressed including intake of requests, prioritization and scheduling of projects within the portfolio and communication regarding the status of the portfolio. Works across the organization to coordinate the activities to meet portfolio requirements and deadlines.

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY

* Complex responsibilities related to primary focus of job area. Uses best practices and in-depth business knowledge to solve complex problems and improve products or services. May adapt procedures, processes and techniques to meet the more complex requirements of position.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Prepares OGE Leadership as necessary to update applicable regulatory agencies on the performance of portfolio activities.

* Maintain a set of projects which form the portfolio across the organization.

* Work across the organization to incorporate any requirements that have organizational implications so the transition is seamless from a business unit perspective.

* Maintain the portfolio documentation and minutes of management decisions with respect to the portfolio.

* All other duties as assigned.

* Lead the day-to-day mechanisms to report status for portfolio within the organization and to senior management.

* Administer the portfolio with respect to the intake of request, reporting requirements, and/or communication of status.

* Ensure all required data for making portfolio decisions is complete and available for decision-making, coordinating across the organization.

* Provide leadership, organization and coordination to support the planning and governance of the portfolio of work.

* Monitor projects in the portfolio - milestone schedule commitments, resources commitments and collects project information to update the portfolio.

* Monitor resource constraints affecting the completion of projects in the portfolio.

* Ensure that project benefits and costs allow for objective evaluation of projects against company objectives and thereby aid project approval decision-making.

* Track and quantify the impact to the existing portfolio when new projects surface and works with leadership to resolve conflicts.

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of directly related professional experience in progressively responsible positions; Or

* High School Diploma/GED and 13 yearsof directly related professional experience in progressively responsible positions.

* Demonstrated experience utilizing proven project management techniques to budget and schedule resources.

* Demonstrated experience utilizing business acumen in the areas of financial, accounting, and operational functions of an organization.

* Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects within a portfolio.

Preferred Qualification:

* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS

* Travel may be required.

* Office work using computers.

* May be required to work non-standard work hours.

* Ability to collaborate and interact effectively and professionally with team members, leaders and stakeholders.

* Extensive organization, communication and facilitation skills.

* Proactive work style and ability to work independently with limited oversight.

SALARY RANGE

$86,341 - $115,128
