Full Stack Integration Engineer

NS2 Mission is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Full Stack Integration Engineer to join our agile development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and support of a scalable data management and analytics platform. This position is remote, with occasional travel required to customer sites.

• Collaborate with the development team and customers throughout the full application lifecycle.
• Understand existing application objectives, functionalities, and constraints.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while recommending enhancements to applications and infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and enhance Java-based applications and Vue.js-based user interfaces.
• Apply innovative problem-solving approaches to complex technical challenges.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation and task breakdowns.
• Maintain continuous professional development aligned with program objectives and emerging technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• 15+ years of experience in designing and developing Java/Spring-based RESTful APIs.
• Expertise in Vue.js, Node.js, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong background in developing single-page web applications.
• Experience with distributed computing technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and OpenSearch.
• Proficiency in Linux environments (RedHat and/or Ubuntu).
• Experience working in agile development teams.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in virtual teams and remote work environments.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Experience with geospatial development tools (GDAL, PDAL, GeoTools, ESRI, PostGIS).
• Background in developing analytic tools and data visualization solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Apache NiFi.
• Expertise in search and indexing technologies (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr, Lucene).
• Experience in distributed computing environments (Hadoop, Spark).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply emerging technologies.
• Scripting expertise in Python, PERL, and/or Bash.
• Familiarity with Atlassian DevOps tools (Bamboo, BitBucket, Confluence, Jira).
