What this position entails

IntelliScript's Information Technology has been a key part of our success and is critical to our future. In this position, you will have responsibility for shaping the ongoing development and enhancement of IntelliScript's industry-leading software. You will work closely with the development team on front-end technological research and architecture decisions. This role is expected to analyze and provide recommendations to help guide UI development practices and procedures, as well as help define standards and provide guidance on new UI development. This role will have a focus on our OneRecord product's web app design and development, console front end design and development, and other design projects.

What you will be doing



  • Design, develop, maintain and improve software and other technical solutions that solve business challenges
  • Mentoring team members on software engineering best practices
  • Focus on overall product quality
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests
  • Responsibly self-manage workload given project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Help the team achieve sprint goals through independent work and collaboration
  • Participate in code reviews to promote quality and best practices
  • Support code deployments


What we need



  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • In-depth front end development and user experience design expertise
  • Strong experience with React, Next.js, JavaScript, CS Modules, Headless APIs, and State Management
  • Understanding of DevOps principles
  • Understanding of Agile practices (e.g. Scrum)
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle
  • Excellent technical design, problem solving, and debugging skills
  • Experience with writing testable code, unit tests, integration tests, etc.
  • Excellent collaborative skills, work well independently and as a team member
  • Proven analytical skills to interpret and implement business and functional requirements
  • Understanding of the value of test automation and a desire to incorporate it in development practice

Location

The expected application deadline for this job is March 14, 2025. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI for quarterly PI Planning meetings.

The salary range for this position is $109,000 - $222,000 depending on a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, qualifications, certifications, location, etc. In addition, we offer a signicant performance-based bonus plan, prot sharing, and generous benets.
