JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Kyocera, a global leader in technology and innovation, is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager Business Analyst with a passion for digital transformation to spearhead the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, analytics and process improvement across our business divisions. Qualifications/Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in business analysis, with at least 5 years in a lead or manager role.
  • Proven experience in discrete manufacturing environments, with a strong understanding of production processes, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience in manufacturing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management (TQM).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong project management skills, familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Senior Manager Business Analyst, you will:

Team Management: Manage and lead a team of business analysts, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to achieve departmental goals. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development within the team.

Drive Digital Transformation: Lead the integration of new technologies and workflows, enabling Kyocera's business divisions to fully embrace our digital transformation platform.

Collaborate with Stakeholders: Serve as the primary liaison between business units and technology teams, ensuring alignment of goals and successful implementation of innovative solutions.

Enhance Operational Efficiency: Analyze existing processes within discrete manufacturing operations, identify opportunities for optimization, and develop business process models to drive efficiency.

Lead Projects: Oversee cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, managing scopes, timelines, risks, and deliverables.

Data Analytics and Reporting: Leverage data analytics innovations and tools to support decision-making and provide insights into manufacturing operations.

Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive opportunities for innovation and process improvement. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in discrete manufacturing and business analysis.

PLANNING

Moderate responsibility regarding specific assignments in planning time, method, manner, and/or sequence of performance of own work operations.

DECISION MAKING

Performs work operations which permit frequent opportunity for decision-making of importance, and which would significantly affect the operating efficiency of the department.
