Marrakech is looking for staff to work with our wonderful participants with developmental disabilities, physical, behavioral or other needs in a group home setting. We seek nurturing people who will provide care with respect and dignity as well as promote independence and community integration.
SUMMARY The Coordinator of Group Homes manages two group homes, ensuring that services align with agency and state regulatory standards. They oversee daily operations, provide training to staff, and guide leads/supervisors to work independently. This role requires managing staffing, budgets, and ensuring program quality. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure proper staffing and budget management.
- Train staff on standardized systems to maintain program quality.
- Communicate important information effectively within the team.
- Assist in the hiring process and handle on-call duties.
- Complete staff evaluations, routine reports, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Develop and implement resident teaching strategies and daily schedules, including life skills and recreation.
- Ensure the completion of quarterly/annual reviews and submit reports to Case Managers.
- Lead and coordinate Individualized Program Team (IDT) meetings and ensure proper documentation.
- Supervise staff and make recommendations for hiring and personnel actions.
- Oversee administrative tasks such as entitlements, finances, and maintaining the facility.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations (ICF, DDS, CARF) and coordinate required services for individuals.
- Participate in program inspections and quality assurance checks.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Alternatively, a high school diploma with significant experience in human services.

SALARY
- $21.07/hr. Rate increases to $23.43/hr after 6 months.
