Columbia University in the City of New York: Columbia University Irving Medical Center: Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons: Ophthalmology Location 02 Open Date Aug 15, 2024 Salary Range or Pay Grade $200,000 - $600,000 (Base) Description Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons is seeking multiple clinical faculty members in ophthalmology to join our expanding team in multiple subspecialties, including comprehensive ophthalmology, glaucoma, cornea, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery, pediatric ophthalmology, and retina specialist with pediatric retina and/or uveitis experience. Responsibilities include participation in the faculty practice of the Department of Ophthalmology, teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, and other educational and research activities. A track record of positive interactions with residents and fellows is highly desirable. These positions will also involve working at a new, unique, large multi-specialty medical practice in Westchester County, adjacent to New York City. Successful candidates will be appointed to the full-time faculty at Columbia University Department of Ophthalmology with privileges at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Academic rank and base salary commensurate with experience. Qualifications Requirements: * License (or eligible) to practice medicine in New York * Board Certification or Eligibility (ABO) in Ophthalmology * Fellowship training in the respective subspecialty |
