The Opportunity

This role, under direct supervision, will be responsible for reviewing, tracking, and remediating potential security incidents and security issues across the enterprise. Monitors global events and intelligence reports from a variety of established security systems and tools, and effectively comprehends security concepts. Composes clear and effective communications to a global audience regarding geopolitical, meteorological, and life safety events, or other activities requiring situational business intelligence. When directed or required by policy, facilitates enterprise-wide communications, provides guidance, exercising judgement within defined procedures and interacts with various internal stakeholders, contractors, and Corporate Security Management staff to properly respond and execute their duties. Provides support to teams tasked with global security operations including executive protection, investigations, event security, travel security, physical protection systems and other security functions. Works scheduled shifts primarily assigned for after-hour, weekend and holiday periods Additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Global Security Operation

Monitors and collects global incidents and events to support the determination of their impact to the organization. Serves as the central control point for global security operations, including but not limited to: high risk travel, field-based employee security support, investigations, executive protection, remote employee & expatriate support, and event security, and escalates issues to Analysts, or Management as appropriate.

Report Writing

When directed, or required by policy, generates reports of events impacting the organization. These can include security incident reports, topical briefings, analytical reports, location assessments, investigation reports, and other related reports.

Facility Security Operations

In accordance with policy, monitors and coordinates security operations protecting permanent company locations, including security systems and services. These systems and services can include, but are not limited to: CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, intercoms, security audio, security staffing, visitor management, reception support, access card & photo ID issuance, first aid & AEDs, and other life safety programs.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in related study preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Security, Life Safety, Risk Management, Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Military, Law Enforcement, or other related fields preferred
  • Professional operations center experience is strongly preferred
  • Security licensing, or the ability to become security licensed in their state of residence
  • Other relevant trainings or certifications demonstrating skills in security, risk management, business continuity, emergency management, security systems, intelligence gathering, investigations, executive protection, or other relevant topics strongly preferred
