SUMMARY AND LOCATION The Time and Labor Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's timekeeping systems, ensuring accurate and timely recording of employee hours, and compliance with company policies and labor regulations. This role involves close collaboration with HR, payroll, and management teams to support workforce management and reporting needs. This is an office US based position within Morgan City, LA designated as hybrid - remote and work schedules are determined by the manager based on business need Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications
REQUIRED * High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) * Minimum 3 years of payroll and/or time and labor experience, or related accounting and finance experience DESIRED * Associate degree * Minimum 2 years of experience with SOX Controls * Minimum 2 years of experience with time and labor routines * PeopleSoft/Oracle Software experience preferred. * Fundamental Payroll Certification KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS * Strong analytical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MS Teams, MS SharePoint * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Collaborative working style * Detail oriented * Systematic, solution-oriented, and flexible * Solves problems and acts decisively on problems of high complexity. * Strong human relations and interpersonal skills * Ability to use judgment and initiative. * Meet tight and last-minute deadlines. * Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments. * Follows policies and procedures; Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; Supports organization's goals and values. * A self-motivated individualwho adapts quickly with today's virtualknowledge, self-disciplined with a work schedule remotely from home and/or another designated geographicarea as needed.
