Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, and Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Design and implement a strategic AML monitoring and detection solutions to support AML and Fraud Investigations and regulatory reporting processes Define, build and test the solution often working on multiple projects/work-streams at the same time Work closely with business partners in defining requirements and ensuring acceptance criteria is met for application changes Take responsibility in owning and managing the end-to-end technical delivery of all the projects Drive implementation of Key Features using Lean Agile methodology Operate with a sense of urgency and ownership Mentor new team members Requirements: 7+ years' experience with Java with Strong core java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC Knowledge of Java profiling tools Angular, Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring Restful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations Knowledge of performance tuning of data intensive applications Knowledge of Hadoop, Big Data technologies Prior experience in supporting lines of businesses Prior development or infrastructure support experience Background in enterprise stress testing Knowledge of cloud computing or distributed computing In-depth knowledge of development tools and languages Able to partner with the multiple Technology teams to implement the target architecture and migration to strategic platform Attention to detail Strong coding, debugging, and analytical skills Creative individual with a track record of working on and implementing innovative tech-based solutions Exceptional problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Software development using Agile methodology and processes Self-starter, organized, versatile and capable of performing work with minimal management oversight Able to work in a highly visible and fast-paced environment where business needs/priorities may change Pay Range: $55.06 - $63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
