Commercial Finance Manager

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join our Northville, MI headquarters. This high-visibility role is a unique opportunity for a dynamic finance professional to shape a dedicated commercial finance reporting system and drive strategic decision-making at the executive level.

In this role, you will provide critical insights on top-line performance, market trends, and customer dynamics to help navigate the complexities of the automotive industry. Additionally, you will lead the financial review process for large-scale strategic projects, including capital expenditures, new business opportunities, and restructuring initiatives, directly supporting the executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop & Own Commercial Finance Reporting

• Build and maintain a dedicated commercial finance system focused on top-line analysis, customer performance, and market comparisons.
• Deliver strategic insights that empower leadership to make informed decisions in a rapidly evolving market.
• Enhance data visualization and reporting capabilities to drive real-time decision-making.

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Lead financial reviews for key strategic projects, including:

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, challenging assumptions and providing financial clarity.

What We're Looking For

Finance & Commercial Acumen - Strong experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or strategic finance, in the automotive or manufacturing sector.

Top-Line & Market Analysis Expertise - Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.

Executive-Level Exposure - Comfortable presenting financial cases to C-suite and influencing high-stakes decisions.

Strategic Mindset - Proactive thinker who can anticipate challenges and recommend forward-thinking solutions.

Project Leadership - Experience managing large-scale financial projects such as CAPEX, new business, and restructuring initiatives.

Advanced Financial Modeling & Systems Knowledge - Strong skills in Excel, BI tools, and ERP systems.
