Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks SQL Databricks Workflows and PySpark. Experience in Supply Chain Management is a plus. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can work effectively in a day shift. No travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Databricks SQL and Databricks Workflows.
  • Implement and optimize PySpark scripts for data processing and transformation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members on Databricks and PySpark.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data workflows and processes.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data workflows.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and workflows.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Databricks and PySpark technologies.
  • Support the implementation of data governance and security measures.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong experience in Databricks SQL and Databricks Workflows.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in PySpark for data processing and transformation.
  • Have a good understanding of Supply Chain Management domain (nice to have).
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Show ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work model.
  • Display strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
  • Show commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Exhibit attention to detail and a focus on data quality.
  • Possess experience in performance tuning and optimization of data workflows.
  • Show ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Demonstrate understanding of data governance and security measures.

Salary and Other Compensation:Applications will be accepted until Feb 9th 2025

The annual salary for this position is between $70K-85K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
