About Information Technology

The Tolmar IT team ensures seamless software and infrastructure for business automation. They govern networks, operating systems, and enterprise apps, providing departments with the functionality they need. IT facilitates information flow, enabling Tolmar to operate efficiently.

Proposed Work Description

Consistently contribute to the goal of providing innovative IT solutions through implementing and supporting automation tools and AI-driven solutions to enhance service and support for help desk, hardware, operating systems, and software applications.

This includes but is not limited to:



  • Data analysis
  • Automation Implementation
  • Testing
  • Troubleshooting
  • Support and Maintenance
  • Using excellent people skills, deliver outstanding customer service. Serve as an IT department representative to the entire enterprise.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities



  • Be proactive rather than reactive with new initiatives. Build professional relationships and networks within Tolmar departments.
  • Experience with software development environments, including automation tools and AI-driven solutions. Knowledge of agile methodologies and cross-functional teamwork to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Competent with user experience design and software applications. Good oral, analytical, and written communication skills; ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong initiative, problem-solving, priority-setting, and collaboration skills. Exhibits a high level of initiative and integrity. Work well under pressure. Possess creative ability, credibility, and self-confidence.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to innovation and the use of cutting-edge technologies to enhance service and support. Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and requirements, ensuring that solutions remain relevant and effective.

Education & Experience



  • Actively enrolled in a degree program (BA/BS desired); Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience providing technical support as a member of an Information Technology department.


Working Conditions



  • Work is performed primarily in office environments.


Compensation and Benefits



  • Base rate is $22.00 per hour
  • Benefits include medical insurance and 401k participation


Tolmar compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay and a strong benefits package. The final compensation offered may vary from the posted range based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
