Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for a Health Intelligence Analyst to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

  • The Health Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining the core data processing platforms of the company and working with large data volume processing to drive business solutions by querying existing databases in order to create actionable data reports and by creating and maintaining data reporting applications that result in efficient data extraction. This role plays a pivotal role in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our core data processing platforms and works with extensive data volumes to drive innovative solutions by extracting actionable insights from existing databases. Responsibilities include creating and managing data reporting applications that streamline data extraction processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Queries existing databases to pull data necessary for reporting and contract deliverables
  • Develops, enhances and maintains data processing platforms
  • Performs quality checks of all analytics queries, reports, and applications and identifies disparities and actionable resolutions.
  • Manage inventory/library of existing reports.
  • Create/program/design new report development and modifications to reports.
  • Respond to ad hoc queries and reports as needed.
  • Schedule and maintain automation of approved recurring reports.
  • Produce and distribute non-automated reports and deliver to client facing lead.
  • Working knowledge of contract requirements and type of work.
  • Provides internal report QA to other technical team members
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, information systems, computer science, or related fields required.
  • Requires 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in data analysis, modeling, report development, dashboard creation and data visualization
  • In-depth knowledge in MS Office Suite of tools
  • Proficient in querying large data sets using SQL, Python
  • Skilled in SQL tools including SSRS, SSIS, SSMS
  • Experienced in data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI

  • Knowledgeable of business intelligence and data warehouse methodologies
  • Knowledge of database management systems (DBMS)
  • Skilled in database administration
  • Skilled in ETL tools
  • Skilled in data modeling
  • Skilled in performance tuning and identification
  • Knowledge of business and technical systems and processes
  • Skilled in requirements gathering and documentation
  • Skilled in functional and technical design specifications
  • Skilled in process modeling
  • Knowledgeable of the healthcare industry, managed care, and operational systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The pay range for this position is listed below.

"Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant's position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level."


Pay Range

USD $59,648.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
