Acara Solution is seeking a M365 Cloud Applications Engineer with a strong focus on Power Platform development, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-wide automation solutions, along with supporting SharePoint Online (SPO) and Microsoft Teams to ensure seamless collaboration across the organization.
This role is critical in driving digital transformation initiatives, leveraging Power Platform and Azure services to improve business workflows, enhance automation, and optimize operational efficiencies. Additionally, this role will support the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE), ensuring best practices in governance, security, and lifecycle management of solutions. The ideal candidate should be highly collaborative, with experience working across IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors to develop innovative solutions that enhance productivity, compliance, and user experience.

Pay Rate: $60-80 an hour with 37.5 hour work week
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility to convert) Duties and Responsibilities.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Create custom automation workflows to improve operational efficiency and enhance business processes.
- Manage and optimize solutions through the Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) to ensure governance, security, and best practices.
- Develop RESTful microservices and APIs to support integrations with external applications.
- Leverage Azure services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Azure AD) to support Power Platform applications.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and version control for Power Platform solutions.
- SharePoint Online & Microsoft Teams Administration
- Manage and configure SharePoint Online (SPO) and Microsoft Teams, ensuring optimal performance, security, and usability.
- Oversee site configuration, permissions, content management, and user access.
- Develop custom solutions and automation to enhance SharePoint workflows and Teams integrations.
- Ensure proper governance, compliance, and best practices for SharePoint and Teams environments.
- Monitor bandwidth, space utilization, backups, and overall performance of collaboration tools.
- Maintain and support cloud-based business applications and enterprise automation solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to ensure high-quality delivery of Power Platform and cloud-based solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation workflows, SharePoint, Teams, and integration points.
- Provide training and documentation to end-users and IT teams on newly developed solutions.
- Assist in the release management process for Power Platform, SharePoint, and Teams applications.
- Ensure smooth deployment of updates, patches, and new feature rollouts.
- Support compliance initiatives by documenting security policies, governance frameworks, and change management processes.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years of experience in application development.
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining RPA solutions using Power Platform, Nintex, or other relevant automation development solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining Power Platform applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
- Strong knowledge of the Power Platform Center of Excellence model and best practices for governance, security, and administration.
- Proficient in using Azure services such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Active Directory.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Certification in RPA and/or Power Platform
