The Private Client Group (PCG) team at Northwestern Mutual is focused on helping our most productive and successful advisors build, grow, and transition their practices at NM, while delivering a distinctive and excellent client experience. Within PCG, the Solutions & Insights team is accountable for delivering solutions in the HNW market and efficiencies in the Mass Affluent market as well as provides support across the department to improve the quality, depth, and breadth of how well we know our top advisors, and drive better data driven business decisions and strategic objectives. Reporting to the Sr. Director, PCG, the PCG Business Consultant, Solutions & Insights is responsible for supporting business leadership and day-to-day execution of the PCG Solutions & Insights team function; supporting the development and execution of a strategic implementation of solutions; Trusted resource and advocate for business leads to translate industry & Field experiences into a storyboard, process map and business requirements. This role would work with PCG department leadership, enterprise data partners such as Field Business Intelligence (FBI), AI corporate strategy to gather data, and industry experts to deepen and mature how well we know our most sophisticated practices and how we use that knowledge in strategic decision-making. The PCG Business Consultant will be tightly connected to supporting requests from the team on research and development of insights, analytics, and performance indicators within Northwestern Mutual and the financial services industry and will support internal business partners and the field around how intelligent metrics and insights can support informed strategy and execution. The PCG Business Consultant will assist on insights and data-driven decision-making that are integral to PCG department functions and multi-year strategies, ensure alignment of department initiatives to the right strategic objectives, and support the creation of key performance indicators. In addition to these core responsibilities, the PCG Business Consultant will also take on specific project coordination responsibilities, supporting the expansion of services and capabilities to PCG firms. This includes conducting business analysis, documenting business requirements, defining pain points, and conducting impact analysis. The PCG Business Consultant will play a critical role in supporting and advancing the PCG department's strategic implementation initiatives, ensuring high-quality insights, effective project coordination, to deliver exceptional client and field experiences. Compensation Range: Pay Range - Start: Pay Range - End: Northwestern Mutual pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement in the salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. At Northwestern Mutual, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
