About the unit
The Lifestyle Medicine department of Corewell Health is looking to hire a full-time intern to support their Culinary Medicine programs. About Outpatient ClinicsCorewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of workThis position will help to plan and execute the various aspects that go into running a wide variety of culinary medicine classes. These classes range from medical residents, shared medical appointments, grant funded programs, as well as classes that are open to the public and private. The class topics vary. Some of the key themes are whole plant-based cooking, the Mediterranean Diet, and anti-inflammatory diets in the prevention and reversal of chronic disease.
