Mortgage Systems Administrator

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support the Encompass loan origination system, ensuring system stability, availability, and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (ex. IT, compliance, operations, and lending teams) to implement, maintain and upgrade mortgage related systems and workflows
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Encompass and related mortgage applications, providing user support and escalating issues when necessary
  • Conduct system monitoring, data integrity checks, and performance tuning for Encompass and other related applications
  • Manage new software integrations with third-party tools and services
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including user guides, training materials, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring the system configurations meet the required industry regulations and company policies


Essential Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mortgage systems administration, specifically with Encompass
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage lending processes, including loan origination, processing, underwriting and closing.
  • Proficient in Encompass functionality, including setup, configuration, workflows, and customizations
  • Hands-on experience with system integrations, databases, and APIs related to mortgage systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with mortgage compliance regulations (TRID, RESPA, ECOA, etc.) and their impact on system configurations.


WORK CONDITIONS

  • This position must be able to sit for long periods of time as the position involves the majority of time spent at a computer.
  • The working conditions are almost exclusively inside.
