Commercial Maintenance Technician

Pay: $27 - $30 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

As a Commercial Maintenance Technician, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair commercial properties. This role includes both hands-on work and coordinating subcontracted tasks for various maintenance duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks
• Complete work safely, accurately, and on time
• Handle light electrical, plumbing, and building repairs
• Paint, repair tiles, and maintain interior/exterior finishes
• Use lifts and ladders for light bulb replacement and banner hanging
• Submit paperwork on time
• Maintain facility cleanliness and perform minor landscaping
• Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• GED or equivalent (technical school or college preferred)
• 2-5 years of mechanical experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry)
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals, and instructions
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations
• Willing to work overtime and emergency calls as needed
• Scissor or boom lift certification preferred
• Basic math skills and time management abilities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks
