Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking a Western Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and increasing Sales activities in the assigned territory to achieve targets of budget sales and gross margin for the after-market channel. While managing costs according to the budget, the Sales Manager is responsible for the sales growth of our products, including but not limited to annual sales forecasting, competitive intelligence, and new business opportunity tracking.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Lead, coordinate and manage the Rep Agents who are working with Ilco in the Territory
  • Develops new methods of attaining new sales agencies (when needed) and assisting sales agencies in attaining new accounts as required
  • Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Checks on and reports competitive activity including pricing, products, programs promotions
  • Recommends pricing levels to compete, retain and grow profitable sales
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors
  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.
  • Reviews, agrees and implements in the territory business development plans in collaboration with the other Regional Sales Manager/s and the VP of S&M
  • Helps develop (with Product Managers & Marketing) training programs for the Ilco Sales and Distributor Sales Teams that will effectively communicate the benefits of Ilco products.
  • Collaborates in the development of specific selling programs to enhance the sales of these products, ie: Cross selling to loyal Distributors - "Bundling"
  • Trains the Ilco and Distributor Sales Teams on Ilco Equipment and in the presenting of the newly developed focused selling programs
  • Attends Industry Trade Shows in North America as needed, when training is required
  • Provides monthly reports and to attend periodical business review meeting with VP of Sales and Marketing
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
  • Close collaboration with Customer Service to support the customer base
  • Contributes to the preparation, management and implementation of the Sales Budget activities
  • To maximize the effectiveness and the implementation of the Partner Loyalty Program with selected Distributors
  • Manage, coach, mentor, and motivate direct report(s) with their development and performance goals and objectives


Required Skills & Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience managing sales teams
  • Experience generate and maintaining relationships with sales leads
  • Proficient in MicroSoft Office, ERP, and CRM systems
  • Proven financial acumen in understanding sales budgets, goals, and profitability
  • Demonstrated ability to strategically develop and execute regional sales strategies that align with goals
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to comprehend complex concepts and analysis
  • Adaptable and resilient in navigating changing market conditions and overcoming challenges
  • Effectively able to manage time and resources to meet deadlines while successfully achieving goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills, negotiation skills, integrity, business acumen, goal oriented and results driven
