Under the general direction of the VCSA, Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist serves as an influential and highly productive partner for Intercollegiate Athletics. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for a variety of duties to include recruitment support, office equipment inventory, game day staff payment processing, data gathering and analysis, personnel file management, and onboarding/offboarding. The Human Resources Generalist collaborates with the Sr. Human Resources Generalist to support clients, and the goals and priorities of Intercollegiate Athletics, ensuring UC policies and procedures are followed, all while maintaining confidentiality. This is a part-time position funded for two-years with a possibility of an extension based on funding.
The full salary range for the Human Resources Coordinator is $29.21 - $ 51.15 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $38.31 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
