The Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through peers/subordinate supervisors. Location: Staunton, VA - Hybrid What you will do: Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of the project and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessary Review the project proposal or plan to determine the time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project Confer with project staff to outline the work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters, and set procedures to accomplish system objectives involving complex contracting applications Establish a professional relationship with the customer and interface constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews Prepare project reports for management, clients, or others Maintain the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion Ensure timely and successful completion of assigned projects and customer satisfaction Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff Obtain acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer What's in it for you: Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, PTO, 401K match, support for community involvement and much more The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 4+ years of relevant experience Ability to travel up to 20% Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of project management experience Microsoft Project experience Current PMP Certification HVAC industry experience Benefits: Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer contributions matching 100% of the first 3% of employee contributions and 50% on the next 2% of employee contributions Company provided life insurance + optional employee-paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage, and voluntary accident coverage Short-term and long-term disability 3 weeks of paid time off for new employees + 11 company-paid holidays Vacation accrues on a monthly basis, unless applicable federal, state, and local law requires a faster accrual Paid sick time in accordance with the federal, state, and local law Paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,400-$103,400 + 10% bonus in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls.
