Description

This is a full time, benefited position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm but hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines with regular travel to Carmel Valley and the XiMED building in La Jolla. This is an exempt and salaried position eligible for the Management Incentive Compensation Plan (MICP).

What you'll do:



  • Responsible for day-to-day operations of Concierge Medicine outpatient centers.
  • Works collaboratively with other hospital services, medical staff and administration to ensure delivery of quality patient care in a safe and professional environment.
  • Sets standards for patient care, allocating and managing department resources, managing finances and operations, developing Strategic Marketing Plan and managing implementation.
  • Responsible for business development and growth of department.
  • Hires, evaluates and coaches staff and independent contractors.
  • Conducts meetings, tracks business data, negotiates contracts, planning, implementation and leadership.
  • Coordinates the ongoing development and productivity of the physician office practices.
  • Provides leadership and direction to staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, quality outcomes, and internal and external customer service.
  • Responsible for entire scope of department/location, including facilities management, where appropriate.
  • Collaborates with Philanthropy department.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:



  • High school diploma
  • Five years current applicable experience in a healthcare environment
  • Two years of leadership experience
  • Ability to effectively manage healthcare business and operational practices
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applicable systems


Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:



  • Bachelor's degree and/or completion of formal leadership training
  • Lean Six Sigma experience
  • Project management experience
