The Simon Initiative at Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a Content Author to spearhead the development of engaging, interactive Calculus content for our innovative, mobile-first learning materials. This role is central to developing high-quality educational resources that empower college-level students to succeed in Calculus and related math courses. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in Calculus with a passion for education, a talent for clear and concise communication, and experience in designing interactive, digital learning experiences.
As part of the team, you'll collaborate with other authors, engineers, and educators to deliver modern alternatives to traditional textbooks and homework, transforming the way students learn and apply Calculus concepts. Core responsibilities include:
