About the role:

As a Digital Solutions Architect, you'll be at the core of this transformation... defining, designing, and enabling the architecture that powers our API-first, cloud-native banking platform.

This is a role for builders, strategists, and game-changers.Leaders who don't just follow trends but define them. It's about aligning architecture with business goals, influencing cross-functional teams, and ensuring that what we build is scalable, secure, and impactful. You will drive key technology decisions, set standards, and help teams navigate the complexities of building a future-proof financial platform.

What you will be doing:

• Enable Developer-First Experiences - Ensure that our APIs, services, and cloud patterns empower developers to build and integrate seamlessly.

• Define & Champion Architectural Standards - Establish best practices, governance, and technology blueprints that align with organizational goals and business priorities.

• Solve for Scale, Security & Performance - Design solutions that are resilient, high-performing, and secure, balancing real-time, event-driven architectures with long-term adaptability.

• Align & Influence Across Teams - Work closely with engineering, product, and fintech partners to drive alignment on technology priorities, estimation, and delivery execution.

• Evaluate & Integrate Emerging Technologies - Partner with vendors and fintechs to explore best-in-class solutions while maintaining a vendor-agnostic approach.

• Bridge Business & Technology - Proactively engage with stakeholders to ensure architecture decisions align with business outcomes and user needs.

• Lead by Example - Drive cross-functional collaboration, provide mentorship, and ensure our architecture isn't just technically sound but business-impactful.

What you will need:

• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or engineering, with a strong focus on API-first platforms, cloud-native architectures, and modern SDLC practices.

• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) and cloud-native services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, EventBridge), with experience in serverless architectures using Node.js or Python.

• Strong API design and governance expertise, including API lifecycle management, API gateways (Kong, AWS API Gateway, Apigee), API security (OAuth, OIDC, IAM), GraphQL, and REST.

• Experience with real-time or near real-time data architectures, optimizing NoSQL (DynamoDB) and relational (PostgreSQL) databases for performance, cost, and scalability.

• Hands-on experience with microservices and event-driven architectures, leveraging Kafka, SNS/SQS, or Kinesis for distributed, scalable processing.

• Expertise in containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD practices, including AWS Fargate, EKS, Terraform, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.

• Experience designing and building scalable, customer-facing applications, leveraging modular micro frontend architectures for flexibility, performance, and maintainability.

• Strong background in React/React Native, ensuring seamless, high-performance web and mobile user experiences.

• Ability to design secure, highly available financial ecosystems, balancing scalability, observability, and maintainability.

• Experience integrating SaaS/PaaS platforms and third-party fintech solutions into scalable digital ecosystems.

• A track record of building highly scalable, distributed systems that power real-time transactions.

• Strategic mindset with strong communication and leadership skills, able to align technology with business objectives and drive decision-making across teams.
