The CCBHC Data and Admin Specialist will become knowledgeable of the CCBHC model of care and assist with capturing, extracting, and reporting on data. The CCBHC Data and Admin Specialist will ensure data quality, accuracy, timeliness, integrity, completeness, and the efficiency and effectiveness of data collection and reporting processes. The CCBHC Data and Admin Specialist will work closely with the BI group, and CCBHC team Supervisor. Will attend and participate in team meetings, optimize all revenue/trigger service opportunities, and provide some administrative support to the CCBHC Team. CCBHC DESCRIPTION: Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) uses a new comprehensive model of service delivery to improve clients with SMI/ substance abuse/ co-occurring/health concerns to achieve better outcomes by coordinating care of each client within a multidisciplinary team-based paradigm. Care Coordination, Team Based Care and Population Health/Risk Stratification serve as the foundation of CCBHC. Clients are placed on teams based on risk stratification and/or population health indicators. Services are integrated - addressing both physical and behavioral health needs of individuals. CCBHC provides a broad array of services and care coordination across settings on a full spectrum of health, including acute, chronic and behavioral health needs. The goal is to ensure access to appropriate services, improve health outcomes, reduce preventable hospitalizations and emergency room visits, promote the use of HIT and avoid unnecessary care. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIITES: A. Become knowledgeable of the CCBHC model of care 1. Become familiar with the DMH CCBHC Provider Manual 2. Be familiar with CCBHC standards, understand the history, philosophy, structure, and purpose of CCBHC and develop knowledge of model fidelity. 3. Demonstrate understanding of various best-practice treatment models to work with individuals with Severe Mental Illness, SA, Co-occurring disorders, trauma, and recovery. 4. Understand the focus of CCBHC services, assisting clients in multiple life areas through multi-disciplinary teamwork, and internal and community referral. 5. Adhere to CCBHC values and core principals including; Coordination and Collaboration, Accessible and Available, Evidence Based, Person Centered Care, Family Driven Care, Recovery Oriented, Trauma Informed and Data Driven. B. Work with CCBHC Team Supervisor to prepare agendas and schedule integrated treatment team meetings, team huddles and case conferences with multi-disciplinary team and non-team members as needed. C. Prepare an extensive number of Data Reports to Drive CCBHC Team Activities and Decisions 1. Work collaboratively with BI Team to obtain and be trained on data reporting 2. Review, prepare and disseminate aggregated findings to select team supervisors for data analysis for client care decision making 3. Create and maintain effective tracking, monitoring and reporting mechanisms for required data and information for CCBHC Team Supervisor 4. Generate monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports as needed 5. Identify and implement data integrity and collection enhancements: a. Identify and report errors/inaccurate data sets and possible remedies to program leadership. b. Trouble shoot for solutions in all data-related problem areas. c. Responsible for ongoing maintenance of the data, to ensure the quality and usability. d. Monitor overall data integrity utilizing scheduled processes with automated notifications. e. Ensure consistency of data collection f. Monitor data and results for accuracy 6. Responsible for the quality and timeliness of all data report activities D. Optimize all revenue/trigger service opportunities by disseminating data to the Team Supervisor as directed. 1. Promptly communicate negative trends and data declines to CCBHC Team Supervisor and Program Director. 2. Monitor compliance on clinician level to ensure clients are engaged monthly to optimize trigger service opportunities and report findings to Team Supervisor. 3. Monitor staff trending reports reflecting trigger billing and report findings to Team Supervisor. 4. Review weekly revenue and trigger reports and compare to established benchmarks. 5. Monitor and provide reports related to Medicaid enrollment. E. Provide administrative support to the CCBHC Team F. Other duties as assigned. DEMONSTRATED PROFICIENCY IN:
- Excel, Microsoft Access, Office, Power BI, etc.
- Utilizing data to create reports, tables, and spreadsheets for analysis.
- Planning and execution of various tasks in a collaborative manner.
- Manage and use digital imaging equipment.
- Data Control: Data entry and communication of findings to staff in a timely manner for the purpose of treatment and program enhancement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of high school diploma or general education development (GED).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with data entry, retrieval, and monitoring/reporting.
- Associate degree, preferably in a research-oriented social science, science, or business preferred.
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in data entry, management and/or analysis.
- Experience with research and evaluation in behavioral health or as a research assistant is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavioral or primary healthcare a plus.
