Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Building/modifying ADAMS (multi-body dynamics) models
  • Review engineering data (geometry, bushing rates, etc.)
  • Review road load data (time history data)
  • Run durability models
  • Output component loads, attachment loads, powertrain mount loads, etc.
  • Post-processing data (statistics-max/min values, equivalent damage, loads comparisons, histograms)
  • Technical report writing
  • Upload data into project database

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related degree field
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the field of virtual road loads analysis
  • Involvement in formula SAE challenge
  • Good understanding of vehicle architecture, suspension types and powertrain subsystems
  • Experience in modeling integrating control modules (traction, ABS) into full vehicle virtual models.
  • Experience in vehicle dynamics control modules
  • Understanding of ADAMS flex-bodies and flex-body generation process
  • Demonstrated ability to review and interpret real world and simulation data to ensure model fidelity
  • Ability to communicate the results and understanding to an engineering audience
