General Summary of Position

Department: Clinical Office- Cardiology

Status: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7:00am - 3:30pm

Job Summary:

MedStar Health is looking for an Office Administration Coordinator to join our team at Cardiology Associates LLC at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

Coordinates team activities, events, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient care and service. Performs scheduling, record keeping, and database management. Maintains statistical data and ensures compliance with regulations.

Primary Duties:

* Contributes to department goals and adheres to policies, procedures, and safety standards.

* Answers phone calls, screens inquiries, and resolves issues or directs them to the appropriate parties.

* Manages mail, deliveries, and internal/external requests for records.

* Assists with report preparation, statistical data collection, and deadline management.

* Coordinates special projects, schedules meetings, and manages administrative tasks.

* Ensures confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information.

* Serves as liaison with internal departments and external vendors.

* Monitors office supplies, handles equipment maintenance, and prepares payment vouchers.

* Prepares monthly statistical reports for department budget.

* Assists with employee activities, evaluations, and training.

* May assist in billing processes and patient record management.

* Participates in meetings and community outreach efforts.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in secretarial, business, or related field preferred.

* Relevant administrative experience required, medical office experience preferred.

This position has a hiring range of $48,235 - $84,468
