Overall Purpose

This position is a hands-on, individual contributor technical Salesforce leader involved in setting the standards ensuing excellence in quality of outputs across multiple teams. Responsible for partnering with cross functional teams and providing input to a broad range of initiatives. A technical expert that is continuously learning and keeping abreast of new technologies and industry best practices and finding ways to bring those practices into the Salesforce organization. This position plays an instrumental role in the design, development, test, and deployment of complex solutions on the Salesforce platform.

Essential Functions

  • Crafts Salesforce strategy, ensuring alignment to technology roadmaps in partnership with product management.
  • Develops, scopes, and shapes a platform-wide technical vision for the future.
  • Be a thought leader: a senior point of expertise on Salesforce issues, industry trends and developing technologies.
  • Mentors, coaches and guides junior team members.
  • Drives best practices, platform strategy and technology decisions in the Salesforce organization utilizing knowledge and lessons-learned from building enterprise-scale platforms.
  • Creates and presents an organization wide roadmap that aligns to Enterprise requirements and incorporates internal technical roadmaps.
  • Takes ownership for creating technical product design and architecture.
  • Acts as a technical liaison for internal technology and Product stakeholders.
  • Acts as a technical SME with technology partners, engineering, and product, to shape engineering approaches, share knowledge and experience.
  • Collaborates and builds relationships cross-functionally to influence and motivate others; serve as an internal catalyst for progressive, strategic and successful change management.
  • Support the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education and/or experience typically obtained through a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.
  • Extensive experience (15+ years) in Salesforce and a combination of experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, SOSL, and REST/SOAP APis, integration tools and data migration.
  • Two or more Salesforce certifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, LEAN etc) and DevOps practices.
  • Hands-on in test automation at various levels of testing (unit, component, integration, and functional tests).
  • Background and drug screen.

Physical Requirements

Early Warning works together in a highly collaborative office environment.Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

The pay scale for this position in:

Phoenix, AZ/ Chicago, IL in USD per year is: $180,000 - $210,000.
