Supply Technician

Supply Technician

About the Position

The Supply Technician assists with stock control by issuing receipts, documenting, and properly cataloging items utilizing inventory tracking and storage management. Assist with stock control duties.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must possess a CDL with Air Brakes Endorsement
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations
• Visual and hearing acuity, in accordance with federal regulations.
• Secret or be qualified to be approved for and retain secret clearance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs limited aspects of technical supply management work such as inventory management and storage of Heavy Tactical Equipment Parts from Warehouse to Installation

• Management, cataloging, and property utilization related supply activities.
• Complies with established policies and procedures to support the program.
• Maintains cleanliness of work center in accordance with Government/Company policies and instructions.
• Performs extensive research in different catalogs to obtain stock numbers.
• Processes, codes, and validates physical inventory counts and maintains inventory records.
• Investigates variations between recorded balances and physical counts.
• Picks, stows, and researches inventory to ensure immediate availability of Heavy Tactical Vehicle Parts.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Minimum of six years of related experience.

Location: Ft. Cavazos, TX

Physical Demands:

Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment. Able to stand, bend, lift and walk for extended periods.
