As a Senior Manager, Market Research and Insghts, you will provide insights & analytics support, coaching and training for the USVC Lens Brand Marketing team. This means proactively partnering with the Brand Marketing team to answer a range of demand-generating business questions. The job entails continuously analyzing the various sources of information and sharing findings but also creating efficient ways for the Brand Marketing team to access this information and working with them to glean valuable insights that drive specific demand-generating plans and programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the insights & analytics partner to USVC Lens business stakeholders
  • Primary: Brand Marketing and Channel Marketing
  • Secondary: ESOP, Field Sales, KAPS
• Responsible for leveraging internal data sources (e.g. consumption, Sales dashboards), secondary data (e.g. GfK, Viking Insights) and primary, custom research to feed into:
  • Reporting solutions like Tableau-driven dashboards
  • Custom analysis with actionable, business-focused recommendations
• Collaborate effectively cross-functionally with regular engagement to ensure insights and analytics inform their business plans, strategies and selling stories.
• Provide expertise, coaching, and training to cross-functional partners on how to effectively gather and interpret information
• Lead or co-lead effort to identify and help the Marketing team adopt a business owner-friendly tool that will allow Marketing team to access and analyze key sources of information on their own
• Support leadership with quarterly and other business reviews as well as ad-hoc requests

What you will bring to Alcon:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+6 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 7 Years of Proven Experience

• Experience in B2B2C (medical device, healthcare) marketing, marketing/business analytics or market research
• Experience with marketing and sales information and systems e.g. CPG Nielsen/Circana
• A highly collaborative, effective partner who can influence through smart, thoughtful communication and execution
• Know how to prioritize, challenge assumptions and be adaptive to change
• Possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Customer-centric mindset that leads to actionable insights that inform effective brand strategy and marketing plans
