The Senior Catering Manager is responsible for operational oversight of the Catering and Conference Coordinator teams to ensure successful execution of all catering events, meetings and orders. This position supervises all aspects of event planning including client communication, event order communications, scheduling and training of service staff, execution of order deliveries/pick-ups, event p&l's, proper invoicing for all daily events and weekly/monthly financial reconciliation. This position requires availability Monday through Friday between 7am and 5pm, and oversight of evening events as needed. Key Responsibilities: * Customer Service / Hospitality * Financial Management and Analysis * Special Events / Menu Planning Preferred Qualifications: * At least three years of experience in catering and leading teams * Ability to interact with diverse and high-volume customer base in a friendly and efficient manner * Ability to operate Web based ordering system, process customer requests, changes to orders, menu updates and client profiles. * Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to write professional and efficient emails to clients and customers. * Possess the ability to meet Company and SOP standards for this position * Ability to work at times with minimal supervision, accomplish tasks without direct instruction, and problem solve for the best solutions * Highly organized, detail oriented, with a keen sense of urgency and follow through * High focus on safety and sanitation Associates at Restaurant Associates are offered many fantastic benefits.
