The manager of FP&A is responsible for supporting the global operating unit leadership team. This position is located at our Global Headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 3 days on-site.

The manager of FP&A will help to identify financial drivers of the business to be incorporated into the FP&A processes. The manager of FP&A will report directly to the Director Financial Planning & Analysis.The role is highly collaborative with other finance and functional team members, including executive leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Drive the coordination of global enterprise-wide financial planning and forecasting processes, including standardization into the operating units.
  • Lead the progression of forecasting to a driver-based approach, incorporating both internal and external drivers of business performance.
  • Own the investment analysis and progress against investment commitments.
  • Drive improvement in rigor of margin analysis to understand effectiveness of pricing, selling programs and SG&A investments.
  • Create ad hoc analytics for the Director FP&A and operating unit executive leaders.
  • Compile benchmarking to understand performance relative to the outside world and competition.
  • Must be able to commute to our Milwaukee Headquarters a minimum of 3 days a week without relocation support.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • 6-8 years of experience in progressive finance roles.
  • 2-4 years previous experience in an FP&A role.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong financial modeling and presentation skills using relevant and modern software.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial executive leaders, leverage strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skill, research capabilities and overall business acumen required.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role will not have supervisory responsibilities.
