Position Title: Machine Operator Wage: $19.50-$20.67/hour Shift: 12-hours QPS Employment Group is hiring a Machine Operator for a company in Madison, WI. This is a contract to hire role. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set-up, operate and troubleshoot equipment to produce thermoformed parts to specification - Inspect machinery, equipment and tooling prior to set-up - Identify issues which adversely affect product requirements - Identify nonconforming materials/products and work with shift leader for resolution - Ensure part quality meets established standards and follow Good Manufacturing Practices - Complete all shift documentation/paperwork - Go over job status and updates with incoming shift - Participate in safety programs, follow all established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE Machine Operator Requirements: - Lift up to 10lbs continuously (cases of product and hand tools) - Lift 11-30lbs regularly (3-4 times per shift) - Lift 31-50lbs occasionally (1-2lbs per shift) - Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and stand for long periods of time - Ability to work in warm environments - At least one year of manufacturing or related experience - Mechanical aptitude - Ability to read, write, and speak English to meet training, safety, and quality requirements - Basic math skills - Computer and software skills madison@qpsemployment.com IND035 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
