Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly qualified and committed clinical laboratory scientist (MT, MLS, MLT, or microbiologist) to become a vital member of our vibrant team and contribute to the diagnostic support of animal health. As a key member of our veterinary clinical pathology lab, you will be responsible for conducting a wide range of clinical microbiology and immunology tests, interpreting results, and collaborating with team members to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of animal diseases and health conditions. Solid understanding of clinical laboratory concepts and protocols in microbiology and immunology. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork to function autonomously as well as collaboratively with others. Keen attention to detail and a dedication to upholding high-quality standards. Strong enthusiasm for the health and welfare of animals. License/Certification: Preferred Work Type: Full Time: 100% Appointment Type, Duration: Ongoing/Renewable Salary: Minimum $51,955 ANNUAL (12 months) Additional Information: The anticipated schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. The incumbent will also be expected to work two Saturday morning shifts a month and occasional on-call as required by the hospital.
