We are hiring safety minded Ready Mix Truck Drivers to deliver ready mix concrete to commercial & residential projects in the local Big Island market. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Safely drive and deliver ready mix concrete to various locations as directed by dispatchers. Complete pre and post trip equipment inspections, properly documenting, reporting, and following up on deficiencies. Document each delivery, completing all required paperwork. Develop product knowledge and understand the importance of quality and service. Maintain a clean appearance thoroughly washing residual concrete material from equipment according to operational policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions/conditions. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: Valid CDL Class B with minimum 1 year driving experience. Current Medical Examiner's Certificate. Clean driving record. Have working knowledge and experience in examining vehicle to detect malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needed. Knowledge of the local area and road conditions. Ability to lift 50 lbs. several times a day. Excellent customer service skills. Display a professional, courteous, and positive attitude toward all team members and customers. Willingness to cross-train. Willingness to work an irregular schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Good ready and writing skills. Willing to train the right applicant, CDL Class B is still required. Preferred Qualifications: CDL Class A. 3-5 years driving experience, ready mix truck preferred. Knowledge of concrete materials.
