We have an excellent opportunity for Gravel Truck Drivers in our Central Idaho Division located in the Lewiston Clarkston Valley!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:



  • Person shall demonstrate the ability to safely and productively perform driving operations using a variety of equipment
  • Person shall communicate as well as listen effectively
  • Persons shall be able to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel and to perform all duties safely and productively to ensure quality work
  • Drivers shall have the ability to conduct daily equipment inspections to identify any safety and maintenance issues
  • Job requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including: standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking
  • Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
  • Accurately complete daily vehicle inspection forms.
  • Perform daily housekeeping on truck.
  • Safely operate and maintain truck.
  • Properly load, secure & unload material.
  • Accurately complete load tickets where applicable.
  • Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.
  • Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors.
  • Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

-One or more years' experience operating commercial vehicles
-Has knowledge of the aspects of construction operations
-A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred

-Valid driver's license and CDL required
-Must be able to work day shifts and night shifts. Shifts may vary according to project demands

-Must be able to work in all weather conditions

-Must be willing to travel if job requires

-Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
