Market Executive - Advanced Manufacturing SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Market Executive to provide overall market leadership and direction to our advanced manufacturing sector in the Nashville region. You will develop and improve customer relationships by providing excellent service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary as you will be interacting with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success. RESPONSIBILITIES Networking and building relationships with architects and engineers within the advanced manufacturing sector Calling and networking with current and potential customers Advanced manufacturing market research High level design phase and construction oversight Supervise the overall financial health of projects Develop and maintain project financial and equipment projections Determine and allocate project estimates into the financial system Determine cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget management decisions Provide financials and billings to Accounting for timely payment Create monthly owner billings Handle subcontracts and suppliers for the project Manage the budget and select subcontractors and suppliers Handle billings and contract management, including contract buyouts Lead Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s) Provide job assignments and lead career development Approve timecards for on-site team members Provide training Review work performance and determine rewards and/or performance management measures Function as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative Assist with the review of the owner agreement Resolve site concerns for the owner or representative Provide frequent interactions and service to build positive relationships and future work opportunities Maintain schedule and budget until project completion Provide high-level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance for the project and team members Use appropriate forethought and planning in decision-making to assure project success Responsible for dispute resolution QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience Minimum eight years of construction management/project management or related experience Experience pursuing and building advanced manufacturing related facilities Ability to fulfill responsibilities for multiple, large complex projects Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level Positive professional attitude, and strong customer service skills Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies Current driver's license Travel A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week) Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverage Dental plan 401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson match Paid time off, holidays, and other paid leaves Employer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insurance No-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resources Tuition reimbursement Adoption Assistance Gym Membership Discount Program The base pay range for this role is $155,000 MIN - $232,500 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. #LI-SO1 Please make note: Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.
