PURPOSE OF POSITION:

SR HR Business Partner will be responsible for aligning business objectives with Team Members and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues;successful Sr. HRBP acts as a Team Member champion and change agent. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
• Consult with supervisors/management, provideHR guidance when appropriate. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
• Manage and resolvecomplex Team Memberrelations issues.Conducteffective and objective investigations.
• Recruit exempt and non-exempt Team Membersto ensure best candidates possible are selected. Manage and coordinate Foster Farms', enterprise-wide, college recruiting program.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
• Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
• Additional projects as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• 2+ years of Human Resources experience.
• Knowledge of performance management, employee relations, safety practices, talent acquisition, and compensation strategy, with the ability to apply this information in a manner that is compliant with relevant employment law.
• Change agent with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with proven ability to drive continuous improvement and results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and demonstrated experience utilizing HRMS.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
• Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
• Must have consistent and reliable attendance.
