We're looging Data Center Operations Hardware Hosting to provide onsite Support to the Charlotte North Carolina area.
What will you be doning:
* Mentoring and training of hardware services team.
* Vendor management.
* Development and adherence to best practices in the data center (DC).
* Technical assistance during internal and customer calls.
* Developing hardware installation plans in the DC.
* Involvement in new business opportunities.
* Investigation and implementation of new hardware technologies.
* Managing hardware inventory and coordinating with vendors.
* Analyzing trends for continuous improvement.
* Maintaining and auditing the CMDB.
* Supporting hardware installation and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Preferred: Associate degree in IT and 2 years of experience.
Skills:
* Communication, and time management.
* Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
* Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Hardware Team Objectives:
* 24/7/365 support.
* Planning and executing hardware installations and changes in the data center.
* Managing inventory and conducting audits.
* Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
* Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
