Company: TEKsystems Title: Entry Level AV Installer Office Location: Oxford, CT Duration: 6 month Contract-to-Hire Shift: SECOND -- report to office daily at 12pm, 8 hour shifts Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hour weeks Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour for entry level / higher pay rate based on field experience Start Date: March 2025 Top Skills Required: 1) Candidates must have experience working in a trade with their hands - electrical, construction, landscaping, etc. 2) Candidates must be comfortable working on commercial or municipal (school) environments 3) Candidates must be punctual, able to follow direction, and willing to learn new skills for field installations 4) Hard working & positive attitude towards career growth Personal Vehicle Valid Driver's License Basic Hand Tools (screwdrivers, drills, etc.) Job Description We are looking for Field Installers & Technicians to support one of our customers based in Oxford, CT that works with schools and corporate partners to build and install Audio/Video (AV) systems for classrooms, auditoriums, theaters, gymnasiums, cafeterias and live streaming studios. This will be an fully onsite position taking direction from a Lead or Senior Technician or Electrician. Candidates must be able to take direction well, learn on the job, and be willing to work with their hands. This role will act as an apprenticeship for other Field roles in the company. Candidates must have some technical savvy and aptitude to pick up new technologies and systems they're installing. 6-month Contract-to-Hire position.
