Job Title: Solution Architect III
Location: Hybrid - On-site Monday & Tuesday (Cypress, CA)
Job Type: Direct-Hire, Full-time
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Solution Architect for a full-time, direct hire position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions, with a strong background in system architecture and integration. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms, data architectures, and enterprise system integration, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to create innovative and efficient technical solutions. Key Responsibilities
1. Data Architecture & Management
  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance database solutions.
  • Lead the architecture, governance, and optimization of the Consolidated Data Warehouse.
  • Oversee database administration and management, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Develop semantic layer views and materialized views in Snowflake.
  • Optimize credit usage efficiency in Snowflake and cloud-based data environments.
2. Data Governance & Strategy
  • Establish enterprise-wide data governance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure data quality, standardization, and security through best practices.
  • Implement and maintain master data management (MDM) frameworks.
  • Develop data pipelines, ETL processes, and data flow architectures to enable data accessibility.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation
  • Work with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Stakeholders to align data solutions with business needs.
  • Support data science and analytics teams by creating data tools, models, and algorithms.
  • Research and evaluate emerging cloud, AI, and big data technologies to enhance data architecture strategies.
  • Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives for innovative data solutions.
4. Technical Leadership & Governance
  • Define and enforce architectural standards, policies, and best practices across the enterprise.
  • Analyze current data architectures, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with RTS leadership to maximize the IT portfolio's efficiency and security.
  • Provide technical guidance on integrations, data modeling, and infrastructure design.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience in data warehouse analysis and design.
  • 5+ years' experience in data integration and/or data quality technologies.
  • Proven expertise in Enterprise Data Architecture and data modeling.
  • Deep understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, data farms, and master data structures.
  • Advanced experience in Snowflake data warehouse management.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, XML, JSON, and ETL technologies.
  • Experience developing data governance policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows & Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in unstructured and semi-structured data processing.
  • Experience in Cloud IaaS architectural design using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Spark cluster environments.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, Scala, and advanced machine learning applications.
  • Hands-on experience developing Big Data solutions and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Storybook, Chromatic, NPM, and other development tools.
  • Understanding of advanced client/server and internet architectures.
