Position Summary
Provide administrative support to assistant football coaches in assigned areas of the intercollegiate football program. Breakdown film from practices, games, and opponents' games for review by the head coach, coordinators, assistant coaches, and student-athletes. Maintain confidentiality with any and all information regarding UGA Football, including information relating to players, coaches, staff, prospects and any other visitors to the football office. Ensure compliance with NCAA, SEC, and institutional rules and regulations regarding the area of football operations.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret NCAA, SEC, and institutional rules and regulations.
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only a limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Duties/Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to assistant football coaches in assigned areas of the intercollegiate football program. Breakdown film from practices, games, and opponents' games for review by the head coach, coordinators, assistant coaches, and student-athletes. Utilize XO's video system to run reports for assigned position coach and Quality Control Coordinator for daily practices and individual team meetings. Anticipate the needs of the Quality Control Coordinators; takes ownership to respond promptly and act with autonomy to complete needed tasks related to the football program. Represent the interest and image of the Head Coach, the University of Georgia and the UGA Athletic Association.
