Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
- Foster Innovation: Drive collaboration with Program Leads and cross-functional groups to craft and execute cutting-edge program strategies that propel the organization forward within the broader portfolio management landscape.
- Strategic Partnership: Cultivate strong relationships with Development teams, Senior Management, and Executive Management by delivering impactful project requirements, conducting insightful status reviews, and influencing key development decisions that drive success.
- Precision Planning: Oversee the development and maintenance of functionally integrated project schedules to deliver accurate analyses, identify critical paths, and manage resources effectively, ensuring projects stay on track.
- Risk Navigation: Spearhead risk assessment and mitigation strategies across multiple programs, guaranteeing robust planning and tracking to safeguard against potential obstacles and streamline progress.
- Tactical Leadership: Direct project management activities, scenario planning, and budget oversight for assigned programs, providing transparent status updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Seamless Coordination: Lead, facilitate, and document productive Program Team meetings, overseeing complex cross-functional team operations, enhancing communication, and streamlining decision-making processes for swift progress.
- Relationship Cultivation: Develop and sustain strong relationships with key senior leadership and stakeholder groups across the organization to foster collaboration, alignment, and shared success.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement impactful business process improvements and innovative solutions that optimize operational efficiencies and drive continuous organizational improvement.
- Vendor Management Expertise: Manage key external vendor activities and associated budgets effectively, ensuring seamless collaboration and value delivery when external expertise is required.
- Leadership Development: Mentor and develop lower-level Program Managers by providing guidance, training, and growth opportunities to cultivate a high-performing team that drives organizational success.
- Talent Cultivation: Contribute to the recruitment and selection of new program managers as needed, ensuring a robust pipeline of talent is available to support future program needs.
- Versatile Contribution: Embrace flexibility and adaptability to excel in any other duties as assigned, demonstrating a commitment to organizational success and a willingness to go above and beyond to achieve results.
Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in a life science 15+ years of multi-disciplinary experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry. Experience with both early and late phase pharmaceutical project management including IND/CTA, NDA/MAA submissions. Successful track record of managing complex cross-functional programs including knowledge of drug development process and inter-dependencies of key functions to include research, pharmaceutical development, non-clinical, clinical PK, metabolism, clinical research and manufacturing. Experience with drug development outside the US is desirable
- Master's degree preferred 13+ years of similar experience noted
- Advanced knowledge of project management practices, tools, and methodologies
- Excellent team member with a strong willingness and ability to work across projects at different stages of development in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Recognized as an internal thought leader with extensive technical and business expertise within program management and drug development
- In-depth understanding of early and late-phase pharmaceutical project management, including IND/CTA and NDA/MAA submissions
- Advanced knowledge of the drug development process and inter-dependencies of key functions such as research, pharmaceutical development, non-clinical, clinical PK, metabolism, clinical research, manufacturing, commercial and medical affairs
- Acts as a "trusted advisor" across the company and may be recognized as an external expert
- Provides strategy, vision and direction regarding issues that may have company-wide impact
- Requires in-depth knowledge of the functional area, business strategies, and the company's goals
- Possesses industry-leading knowledge
- Outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels across the organization

We are looking for the best candidate for the job and encourage you to apply even if your experience or qualifications don't line up to exactly what we have outlined in the job description. _ The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $218,300.00-$316,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 35% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
