Day Shift Machine Operator

Description

Bongards Premium Cheese is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced individual to perform as Machine Operators on our processed cheese lines.

Job duties:



  • Operation of the loaf cheese filler.
  • Insure weights of the boxes are correct and properly recorded.
  • Monitor the quality of the boxes and pouches and communicate to the operators.
  • Assure that pouches are properly sealed.
  • Keep immediate work area neat and in order.
  • Work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement.
  • All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead.


Other requirements:



  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to both employee and food safety.
  • Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions.


Physical capabilities:



  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to lift 5 lbs. frequently
