Oversees all areas of operation pertaining to upkeep and maintenance and constant improvement of Resort grounds . Directly supervises a staff of groundskeepers to see that all assigned duties are carried out as specified. Ensures that Resort grounds are kept clean, safe, and detailed to make sure our grounds are esthetically pleasing year-round.

Directly supervises nine employees in the Grounds Department.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include scheduling, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Responsible for snow and ice removal on sidewalks and all entrances. If there is a high chance for snow or ice, the crew will have adjusted schedules to make sure all entrances are cleared for our guest.
• Responsible for grass mowing, fertilizing, liming all grass, insect and disease control of all lawn areas of Resort.
• Oversee Grounds Supervisor in care of ornamental flowers, shrubs, and trees. Design and Implement installation of seasonal color. Oversee interior plant maintenance. Implement our Spa Grounds Area to stay manicured and well trimmed.
• Keep accurate records of all chemicals, insecticides, and fertilization information.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and long hours, if needed to fulfill all responsibilities.

• Advanced knowledge of landscape maintenance
• Two years' related experience
• Must be 21 years old
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License Required
