Endpoint Management Engineer (Hybrid)

Reporting to the Director, IT Support, the Endpoint Management Engineer is responsible for the overall management of Bright Horizons endpoint management tools and environments in support of the employee base.

This is a hybrid role in our Newton, MA office.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Day to day administration and support of endpoint management, anti-virus and hardware provisioning platforms.

  • Provide engineering design and development for new releases and enhancements in endpoint management and related platforms.

  • Deploy applications to the environment and provide support throughout the deployment process.

  • Identify and manage goals and opportunities to improve the health, performance and availability of supported platforms.

  • Apply lessons learned for continuous process and delivery improvement for the customer.

  • Maintain patch management for supported endpoints in accordance with change management practices.

  • Implementing and troubleshooting mobile device management for iOS and Android.

  • Create and maintain Bright Horizons computer images and platforms for distribution.

  • Create, maintain and distribute reporting showing health of platforms and endpoints.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are integrated into planning for platform enhancements.

  • Serve as escalation point for Service Desk on problems/incidents, regarding endpoint management and related platforms.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 years of relevant required

  • 3 years relevant experience would be considered in lieu of applicable degree

  • Experience with application packaging, creating custom packages and deployments in Windows.

  • Extensive hands-on support experience with Windows 10 and the O365 Office suite of programs.

Preferred skills:

  • Mobile device management experience, Intune preferred.

  • In-depth knowledge of scripting languages, such as Powershell and Active Directory group policy.

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of provisioning, patching, deployment and management of desktop and/or server environment.

  • Excellent understanding of ITSM frameworks and change management processes.

  • Demonstrated problem determination, analysis and resolution skills.

  • Should be project oriented with a strong ability to work autonomously.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
