Job Summary

The Goentoro Lab is seeking an experienced biomedical researcher for a new collaborative project identifying the strategies used by cells to move in complex environments and coordinate this movement.

This is a parttime, 20 hour per week assignment.

Essential Job Duties

  • Designs and executes complex microscopy experiments (35%)
  • Designs and executes biochemical analyses (15%)
  • Analyzes microscopy data using existing pipelines and collaborates with other staff to modify analysis pipelines as needed (30%)
  • Coordinates collaboration across and between labs and core facilities (10%)
  • Prepares presentations and manuscripts detailing scientific findings (10%)

Basic Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree and postdoctoral experience.
  • 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience with microscopy, image analysis, and cell culture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with amoeba.
  • Experience managing multi-institution collaborations
  • Experience collaborating with computational and mathematical scientists.

Hiring Range

$45,000 - $72,500 Per Year

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
