Where you'll be working...

In this mobile role, you will work from home while also spending time in the field visiting retail locations and meeting with dealer partners with your supported org identifying areas of opportunity on the front lines.

What you'll be doing...

This role is a mobile position with The Field Sales Operations team, as part of the indirect channel within the Verizon Value organization. This team will strategize and implement support functions both field facing and dealer facing to drive store excellence and growth.

As the Senior Manager, you will consult your assigned field sales organization and establish tactics and implement solutions based on performance KPIs at the door, dealer, and field sales levels.

What we're looking for...

This Sr. Manager will directly influence the development of how Value Indirect's West Area Field Sales team is supported operationally. This leader in consultation with the supported field sales organization leadership will make decisions for day-to-day business needs as well as long term strategic decisions.

In this role you will be:

  • Supporting the operations and processes for the Value Indirect field sales organization.

  • Collaborating closely with the Value Indirect West Area Field Sales organization from Retail Performance Managers through leadership, developing & executing on a sales strategy that aligns to the broader Value Indirect Channel strategy.

  • Being responsible for decision making in support of the field sales organization, using functional subject matter expertise and conceptual thinking skills.

  • Overseeing and coordinating end-to-end ownership of complex organization-level initiatives with the focus of driving core KPIs and growth of Value Indirect stores with limited oversight and direction.

  • Being accountable to scope, define, and introduce field support strategies, processes, best practices, and procedures while identifying potential risks & providing transformational opportunities.

  • Managing daily, weekly, monthly ad-hoc reporting requests and presentation materials in support of opportunity doors, dealer, and/or field support for supported organization.

  • Leading cross functionally with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with channel priorities & long term goals. This includes, but is not limited to, Channel Management, Systems, Merchandising, Go to Channel, Training, Distribution Execution, etc.

  • Consistently delivering high quality work that fully addresses the intended criteria, goals, and objectives.

  • Effectively communicating verbally and in writing to stakeholders, team members, and leadership.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

  • Experience with program and/or project management.

  • Experience in wireless industry.

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately up to 50%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, VLSS certification in Green Belt or Black Belt.

  • Ability to learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, adapt to a rapidly changing environment, possess obsessive attention to detail and demonstrate a sense of urgency.

  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to solve ambiguous problems and deliver results despite challenges.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience working with external partners and/or vendors.

  • Expert level Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite knowledge with a particular command of Sheets/Excel and Slides/Powerpoint.

  • Advanced presentation skills including creating content and associated backup materials.

  • Experience in the Verizon Value segment.

  • Google App Scripts or other developer experience including but not limited to Javascript, Python, or HTML.

  • Business Intelligence Software experience such as Looker or Power BI.

  • A passion for delivering exceptional experiences to partners and consumers.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances. If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $108,000.00 and $200,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
