Job Description

Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for a Technical Support Supervisor to join our team. This person could be located at one of our climate solutions sites in North America or this could be remote, preferably in the Eastern Time Zone of the United States. This person will support various products and teams within Danfoss, providing world-class service and support.

Job Responsibilities

* Oversee technical support team supporting multiple business segments within the department.

* Includes daily management tasks, competency building of direct reports

* Support team in utilizing communication tools for customer interaction (Salesforce, etc)

* Directly participate in a technical support call center as a partial workload

* Align with Sales teams to ensure technical support is focused in the proper areas

* Conduct internal and external presentations to increase knowledge of products and applications

* Develop and maintain technical tools to support customers (documents, videos, etc)

* Coordinate scheduling of after-hours emergency support team

Background & Skills

  • Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or Engineering Technology with preference in Mechanical, Refrigeration, or HVAC
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to help advance market share against strong competition
  • Ability to balance direct workload while also supervising a team of direct reports
  • Entrepreneurial as well as strong initiative and ability to lead/drive process improvements
  • Willing and able to travel regionally and internationally (approximately 5-15% travel required)
  • Potential, periodic after-hours emergency phone support (via phone)
  • Experience with MS Office required
